Coming from Maryland, we know crabs.

Good ol' Maryland Soft Shell Blue Crabs.

Since I have been home from school [4 days], I have consumed 4 meals with crab in it.

Yesterday Caleb and I went looking for a place to hike. We found this little nature area near Elon called Shallow Ford. It had a few short trails but it was still fun to walk through all the beautiful fall foliage. There was a little river that ran through the woods and some fun trees and rocks to climb!

Unfortunately, my good camera is broken so these were taken with my little Sony Cybershot pocket camera [definitely not as good of pictures as they could have been, but oh well].

It was such a fun day!

I have come to realize what I want to be a Mahout now/when I grow up. If you don't know what  a Mahout is all you need to know is that they live in India and play with elephants all day.

crafty night

Saturday night, my roommates and I had planned on going line dancing at Arizona Petes in Greensboro. We were planning on leaving at 9 and it was about 8:45 when changed our minds. We were then trying to figure out what we would do instead and then we remembered, "BLAIR HAS PAINTING SUPPLIES!"

We [literally] ran out of the door to get to Michael's craft store before it closed at 9. Blair had the paint, but we needed to get canvases to do the painting on.

So we sped to Michael's and got our canvases as they were 

trying to rush us out of the store because 

we walked in the door at about 8:57.

[I bet they hate those type of people]

We got back and the painting began!

He actually received his present on his birthday [I'm not that bad of a girlfriend] but he wasn't able to enjoy it until last week. On his actually birthday, he opened a box that had a Muse t-shirt and 2 tickets to the concert in Raleigh, NC. 

He was SO excited!

We had seen Muse perform last year as the opening band for U2, but this concert was all Muse!

Two Saturday's ago, instead of going to the crowded Elon Homecoming football game [where the football team lost miserably anyway], we went pumpkin picking!

We found this cute little farm in Burlington and they had pumpkins and mums everywhere!
